Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, and Consulting Services
Background:
After 40 years of progressive responsibility in a major ship design consulting firm, David Helgerson established a private consulting practice and supported a wide range of clients for eight years. In 2021 he decided it was time to retire and focus on other priorities. Among those are family, personal interests such as woodworking, and continued dedication to the non-profit educational boatbuilding community and, specifically, the Teaching With Small Boats Alliance.
Educational Programs:
We support the Teaching With Small Boats Alliance and its many member organizations; these organizations and their programs make a difference by offering effective experiential learning opportunities to youth.
